Types of tools that suit the needs of DIY AMI style? Always select a superior useful tools and go for the better quality rather than quantity. Initially, you don't have to purchase the complete range or heavy duty gadgets listed below but buy for your specific needs and build up your tools or equipment gradually.

Here is a selection of essential DIY AMI style tool terms explained.

1. Set of Screw Drivers
- 3 different size Slot head (I) screwdrivers and 3 different size cross-head (Star) screwdrivers

2. Bow Saw
- Multi-purpose saw like bow shape or hacksaw(Steel cutting). Bow saw for wood cutting.The blade could easily replaceable. Prefer this type rather than ordinary hand saw, due to its multi usage and less maintenance.

3. Measuring Tape
- At least 7.5m long steel ribbon and retractable

4. Set of Pliers and Spanners
- For cutting wires and grip, etc

5. Aluminium 10ft Ladder
- step ladder; foldered one better

6. Test Pen
- for small screws and quick check on AC power

7. Chisels
- for wood pits or joints, etc

8. Electric Drill
- Drill holes for bolt and nuts or roll plugs, tenon holes, etc  (Must buy, wonder gadget many usage)

9. Hammer
- Choose steel handle type (better lasting)

10. Jack Plane
- Wood surface smoothing, etc

11. Clamps
- F or G types. Secure fixes and temporary grips purposes

12. Spirit Level
- 1ft long will do. Levelling or angelling

Introducing DIY AMI style in smart way is for everybody especially for beginners as long as the DIYee to be, could lift and strike hammer right on targets, it means you already got potentials.
